How to reconnect your social accounts to Vista Social

Did one of your social accounts get disconnected from our scheduling software? Here's how to remedy that.

Once you've added your social accounts to Vista Social - you'll be set! And we'll be able to post SocialSermons on your behalf.

But what happens if your accounts get disconnected? This isn't common. Typically, once social accounts are connected - they stay connected.

In the event this does happen though, here are the steps to follow to re-link your accounts and provide us with the necessary permissions to post on your behalf once again.

Method #1

To reconnect a social account, simply click on "+" in the sidebar navigation and connect the profile one more time. We have complete walkthrough guides on how to connect each of the major social platforms here.

Method #2

Method #1 is usually successful. If it's not, that means a full reset on your Vista Social account is required.

Don't worry! It's not as bad as it sounds. Simply follow these easy steps:

  1. On Facebook, be sure to switch to your personal profile and head over to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings

  2. Remove Vista Social

  3. Come back to Vista Social and try connecting your profiles again using the walkthroughs linked above. IMPORTANT: As you navigate through Facebook authorization screens be sure to use "SELECT ALL" for Pages, Groups and Instagram profiles. This is very important to making sure the connection is successful.
